Passengers and crew on board an IndiGo Airbus A320 evacuated safely at Delhi airport after dense smoke was detected from the landing gear of flight 6E 176 that had just arrived from Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon. There were a total of 154 people on board the plane — 148 passengers including an infant and six crew members.
There were injuries to 28 people during the evacuation. Of these, 27 had minor injuries while one is suspected to have a fracture.
